Privacy Policy

Muse ("the App") is a private, single-user automation tool operated by its owner. This policy explains what the App does with data.

1. What data the App accesses

With the mailbox owner's explicit consent, the App reads email message data from the owner's own Google/Gmail account — sender, subject, date and message body of unread messages — through the Gmail API, in order to produce an email digest.

2. How data is used

Message data is used only to generate a summary for the mailbox owner. It is processed locally on the owner's own machine. No email content is sold, rented, published, or shared with any third party for advertising or any other purpose.

3. Storage and retention

The App stores only an OAuth token (to keep access authorized) and a small list of message identifiers already reported, on the owner's own device. Email bodies are not retained beyond the generation of the current digest.

4. Third parties

The App does not transmit mailbox data to third-party services. Requests go to Google's own APIs. The App does not use Google user data to train machine-learning models.

5. Revoking access

The owner can revoke the App's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. All stored credentials are then invalid.
